Description:
San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) proposes to implement transportation safety improvements on Leavenworth Street, between McAllister Street and Post Street, as part of the Leavenworth Street Quick-Build Project. The Leavenworth Street Quick-Build project aims to implement safety measures along the project corridor to reduce speeding vehicles and make Leavenworth Street safer for people walking and biking. The proposed project is in response to the community’s demand for increase investment in transportation safety solutions in the Tenderloin neighborhood. The project is part of the Vision Zero quick-build initiative to quickly implement safety improvements on the High-Injury Network. Please see project description memo for complete details.
